The Ministers of Agriculture and Rural Development, Couliably Sangafowa and that of the Animal and Fishing Resources, Kobenan Kouassi Adjoumani, presided over the machine parade on the space reserved to this effect, on Friday 24 Nov. 2017, at the 4th edition of le Salon International de l’Agriculture et des Ressources Animales (SARA) in Abidjan.
Event during which, the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development revealed that the space reserved for the exhibition of machines receives an average of 60 visitors per day with intentions to purchase. He took the opportunity to congratulate and extend an invitation to exhibitors and participants for SARA 2018. “I would like to thank you and invite you to SARA 2018,” said Minister Coulibaly Sangafowa.
This parade, which is also competition, included agricultural machinery from four companies: LASSIRE industry, AC comafrique, Kanu Equipment and CFAO. The various machines presented by their manufacturers have shown the robustness, precision and quality that characterizes them.
The criteria defined by the president of the jury revolve around innovation, the accessibility of machines by farmers, the price ratio and the power of the machine, among other criteria.
A jury made up of 3 experts in the field was chosen, including agricultural engineers N’Dri Raymond and Allah Kouadio Theodore as well as Agricultural Techniques Engineer, Kouamé Sébastien. The results of the competition will be announced at the closing of the exhibition scheduled for November 27th.
“We are counting on you to give a result hat is above all suspicion,” said Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Coulibaly Sangafowa.
