Smaller Models
Models L 506 to 514 fall within the smaller model category of Liebherr wheel loaders. The loaders in this category are known as stereo or compact loaders, and are characterised by exceptional manoeuvrability. The units give a smooth ride even in very rough terrain. Fitted with a centre pivot, as well as rear steering capacity, the ability of the compact loaders to move in smaller spaces is what makes them particularly useful on construction and earthmoving sites.
The L506 compact model is the smallest unit in the range. Models in the category have a high safety profile because of their flexibility. The L508 model is fitted with a 50kW engine, which makes it the wheel loader in the compact category with the most powerful engine. Driver comfort is another feature of the model, with an extra strong, but spacious cab that enables longer operation without driver fatigue. The L507 model is a Stage IIIB machine that is also very manoeuvrable and features compact design with articulated steering combined with rear steering axle. This enables the machine to turn tightly without compromising on its stability. It also has a swinging alternating rear axle in combination with an articulated oscillating joint for the cab. With such, smooth operation is possible. There are several attachments that can be used with this model, broadening the application range of the machine. It has a tipping load of over 3 700kg.
Larger Models
The L538 is a Stage IIIB Liebherr wheel loader characterised by its low impact on the environment. It is exceptionally fuel efficient with a fuel consumption rate of up to a quarter less than similar models available from competitors for similar work conditions. The machine is fitted with the new Liebherr fuel efficiency system, which is why it is possible for the machine to be so fuel efficient without compromising on its ability to perform. It comes with the travel drive technology so characteristic of Liebherr, which helps to reduce the wear on tyres considerably. Driver comfort helps to increase productivity. Featuring a rather spacious and very safe cab, it is certainly a pleasure to operate the machine, especially with the hydraulic cabin mount that minimises noise in the operator’s space. It comes with a tipping load of over 9 490kg.
The L 542 is another Stage IIIB Liebherr wheel loader that’s known for its environmental friendliness with low fuel consumption due to the design of the machine and the Liebherr Power Efficiency feature. It also features the travel drive technology, thus enabling lower wear on the tyres. The cabin is spacious, built for driver comfort and with the hydraulic mounting, the cabin is stabilised during operation.
